I always want to cry when I see the King's butler distraught by his son's body.

And for the record, those two probably had to search all over the swamps to find that single patch of sunny grass for them to run over.

Words cannot express how much I love this... It brings back so many feelings from playing MM as a child. <3 Beautiful work.

I really like this; it's very clean and loose, with a great sense of motion and freedom. Such a bittersweet moment. The story of the butler's son has always been one of the most poignant and memorable in Zelda games for me, despite how little is said about it.

Waaagh that story always makes me way too sad when I get to that part of the credits. It's a very strong moment, yes, but also sad.

Thanks for the kind words! :D

You're welcome! Yeah, it is very sad; I find it tragic too, but I like poignancy. MM had a number of moments like that; its characters and story are definitely some of my favorites in Zelda.

...Although I was never able to take Mikau's death completely seriously because of how quickly he jumps up and starts belting out his life's story. :P MM's odd moments of humor were some of my favorite parts as well, though.

The Butler didn't deserve his sons death. =(

No, he didn't. :( Rediscovering the Butler's discovery of it gets me right in the feels every time.
